The Sports Book Awards

With headline sponsors including The Sunday Times and Charles Thyrwhitt, the Awards have gained widespread national coverage, connecting sports and literary fans alike.


The Challenge

The Sports Book Awards needed a fresh visual approach to boost its online presence, strengthen engagement through social media, and create impactful materials for its high-profile event. The challenge was to design social media assets, edit videos, and develop event materials that reflected the prestige of the Awards while resonating with a broad audience of sports enthusiasts and literary lovers.


My Approach

For social media, I developed a design strategy focused on high-quality visuals and engaging video content. I edited videos that showcased key moments, such as nominee announcements, behind-the-scenes insights, and highlights from the star-studded event. On the design side, I created cohesive graphics for posts and campaigns, ensuring a consistent look and feel across platforms.

For the event, I produced clear, professional presentations that emphasised the Awards' prestige and communicated effectively with sponsors and media. Event materials such as signage and printed programs were bold and aligned with the event's branding, enhancing the attendee experience.


The Result

The combination of polished video content and eye-catching social media design increased engagement across platforms, sparking more interaction from fans, authors, and media. The presentations contributed to successful sponsorship and media partnerships, while the event materials created a cohesive, branded experience at the Awards.
